“My dream hunt would be with my wife of 10 years. We have been through a lot together. I have been in the military for 7½ years and been deployed in support of Iraq Freedom and Enduring Freedom four different times. Now you might say, ‘So you’re in the military, that is what you are suppose to do!’ Well, it is a little different for me, my wife has three different cronic illnesses and it takes a lot out of her to just watch my three wonderful boys.
There are times that she stays in bed most of the day due to her Lupus and the inflamation that she has been dealing with for 18 yrs. She loves to hunt and fish and anything that has to do with the great outdoors. When she is feeling well, she is always outside with the boys and I looking for tracks and sheds. We are stationed at Elmendorf AFB, Alaska. We have been here for a year and a half and haven’t even had a chance to hunt for any type of the wondeful wildlife they have here. I was able to go salmon fishing a couple of times but would love to do more come next season.
My dream hunt would be to go out with my wonderful wife and hunt for huge moose in the Yukon. It would be a dream come true to be able to take a moose with my wife. It would even be better if we both took one, it would be a dream of both of ours come true. I am going to Afghanistan in January for six months and will be back in July. I would do anything for this dream hunt to come true for us. Please find it in your heart to make this air force man and his wife’s dream come true.”
